A 4,000,000 sq. ft. IT and Mixed – Use Project including Retail, Residential Complex and Hotel

The different typologies in the TATA Infopark Complex result in a variety of building types. While this adds interest and variety to the development, the different scales of the buildings as well as the different facade articulations that will be required for each building type made it hard for the complex to maintain a singular identity. By spanning a roof superstructure over the entire development, the individual buildings are able to maintain their distinct forms, identities and functionality, while a singular identity is given to the complex as a whole. The roof form wraps down the south and west facades as well, becoming integral with the buildings themselves. In the courtyard, the spans of the roof structure provide solar shading and reduce solar gain on the courtyard facing facades, thereby reducing mechanical loads and making the building more efficient.
